REGISTRATION GUIDELINE FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS

    • Click the ‘Check Admission’ link at the bottom of this page to check if you have been offered provisional admission.
    • if you have been admitted, you are required to click on the Create An Account to Access Portal Activities link to get further access to the portal, from where you will continue your admission processes. PLEASE NOTE AND KEEP YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD SAFE, AS IT WOULD BE USED THROUGHOUTYOUR STAY IN THIS INSTITUTION
    • Once you have successfully logged into the portal, select the "Check Admission Status" menu to re-confirm your admission, a notification would be presented to you, print and keep this notification.
    • Proceed to any of these collecting banks nationwide and pay your acceptance fee of N10, 000 (Ten Thousand Naira only) through the eTranzact platform. A payment voucher, which contains your access pin, will be issued to you.

    • Login with your UTME registration and access pin to access and print your Acceptance Letter, by Clicking On the "Accept Admission" menu
    • Proceed to the Admissions Office with a copy of your Admission Notification Letter and Acceptance Letter to obtain your Admission Letter.
    • Proceed with your Acceptance and Admission Letters, as well as your qualifying results (i.e SSCE/NECO/NABTEB, UTME, ND results, etc) to your department for clearance.
    • After being duly cleared by your department, proceed to any of the collecting banks mentioned above to pay your scheduled tuition fees (and hostel fees) through the eTranzact platform. A payment voucher containing your payment details as well as an access pin will be issued to you. The scheduled tuition fees are as follows:
    1. NDI & HNDI 2010/2011 Academic Session          N28, 000
    2. NDII & HND II 2010/2011 Academic Session       N18, 000
    3. NDII & HND II 2011/2012 Academic Session       N23, 000
    4. Hostel Upkeep                                                              N10, 000
    • Login with the transaction details on the payment voucher to register and print your school fees receipt.
    • Go to the Polytechnic Medical Center for medical examination and obtain your Medical Certificate of Fitness. You are required to pay a National Health Insurance fee of N1600 (one thousand, six hundred naira only) at the Medical Centre.
    • Obtain a set of endorsed student residence forms from the Director, Student Affairs’ office, fill and submit at the admissions office.
    • Proceed to the admissions office and submit all your documents including your qualifying results for verification. You are required to attach an SSCE/NECO/NABTEB scratch card to a photocopy of your credentials. After successful verification of credentials, an Admission Clearance containing your Student Registration Number is issued.
    • Present your school fees receipt and other relevant documents to the bursary for verification, to obtain an official school fees receipt. Create two (2) files with the under listed items/documents in each of them and write your registration number and name on each:
    • Admission letter
    • Admission Clearance note/ Certificate/ Slip
    • Qualifying results
    • Departmental Clearance
    • Birth Certificate or Sworn declaration of age
    • Evidence of Local Government Area of Origin
    • Medical Certificate of Fitness
    • Passport Photograph
    • Evidence of Industrial Training (I.T) (for HND students only)
    • Evidence of School Fees Receipt (Photocopy)
    • Submit one file to the admission office and the other to your Academic HOD. Collect ID card format from the admission office.
    • Go to the Student Affairs Directorate and obtain a personal copy of your completed Student Residence Forms for your personal file.
